The journey

How we got here

20 years isn't just a round number. It's an accumulation of decisions, shifts, and things we learned the hard way.

2005

Founded on data as a foundation

We started as IIH Nordic with one conviction: companies that understand their data, win. It wasn't a popular point in 2005. It is now.

2012

We built data teams before CDO existed as a job title

Our clients weren't short of data. They lacked someone to translate it into decisions. We began embedding analytical thinking deep inside organisations — not as a project, but as a permanent capability.

2017

We introduced the 4-day work week — permanently

Not as an experiment. We believed that concentrated, focused work in four days creates more than scattered work in five. Employee satisfaction rose. Sick leave fell.

2023

AI arrived. We recognised the pattern.

We had seen this before — a technology that changes everything, but only for those who truly understand it. We knew the gap between potential and actual result. So we acted — not because of hype, but because we knew what was at stake.

2025

IIH Nordic became Dear Future

A good name doesn't always cover what you actually do. We no longer work with digital marketing for its own sake — we work on the strategic and technological decisions that define what is possible three years from now. That requires a name that points forward.

We changed the name. Not the history.
